Case Study SloughBack to case studies
Low Carbon Construction had the privilege of being awarded a contract to construct a new block for Ryvers School in Slough, consisting of several classrooms and a new dining hall.
The building was constructed in our Portsmouth factory to the exact specification detailed on the plans. Because Ryvers is a busy school the time limits were tight for us to deliver and install the modules during the school half term. In order to work effectively with the builders on the site, we delivered the modules in two separate batches enabling the first batch to be installed and fitted out while the second batch was prepared for delivery.
It was a challenging but extremely successful project and on a recent site visit it was fantastic to see the building taking shape. Below you will see a slide show of the images taken from the modules’ journey from factory to installation. We will be visiting the site soon to take some pictures of the finished project and which will demonstrate the benefits of using the unique modular construction methods developed by Low Carbon Construction.
